Begin your Montpelier Wine Weekend with a tasting and a dinner at the award-winning Palladio Restaurant at Barboursville Vineyards where Chef Melissa Close was recently selected as a finalist for the James Beard Award. Dine Saturday night at the acclaimed restaurant at The Inn at Meander Plantation. Stay in a luxurious B&B and spend the next two days in leisurely drives through rolling hills and back roads to sample some of the best Virginia wines.

Dig in Style!
Join Montpelier's famed archaeologists and dig for historical "treasure" in never-before-examined hallowed ground. This concentrated experience will give you the skills of a real archaeologist as you work side-by-side with Montpelier's Ph.D. archaeologists to discover the pottery, glassware, buttons, door hinges, and other remnants that reveal how the Madisons and their slaves lived and worked on the estate.
